Adding to the terrific shock and suffering caused by

tsunami and following nuclear accident,

the ways how  the Government or Tokyo Electic Power

Company handled all the serious problems after

those critical,  natural and man-made disasters have

made me feel more desperate and helpless.

Since we knew what announced by  the government

about the victorious results during the time of

war were full of falsities,  I’ve become more

suspicious of the national regimentations.

Seeming also to be disobedient to the process of

season this year,  leaves were late in changing colors.

Especially,  maple leaves are turning red while

dying down simultaneously.

津波や原発事故の衝撃に追い討ちをかけるような

原発事故後の政府や東電の対応、そして

明るみに出たそれら大組織の内実に絶望的な

思いを噛みしめた一年になってしまった。

真珠湾攻撃から七〇年。音質が悪く聞きにくかった

ラジオから響く「大本営発表」。

戦況を知らせるその放送がすべて真っ赤な嘘で

塗りかためられていたと知って以来、

国をはじめあらゆる「組織」を信じなくなった。

そのような不信感や憤りは当然、自分自身に跳ね返る。

木々も季節を信じなくなったのか、今年は

リズムを狂わせたらしい。特に楓の紅葉は

例年より二週間遅く、枯れながらもどうにか

赤に辿りついた感じ。わが庭の一隅で発芽してから

二〇年ぐらいの、幼木も例外ではない。
